The holiday season is supposed to be a time of joy and celebration, but for many families in Georgia, it has turned into a time of tragedy. According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, nine people have been killed on Georgia roads during the holidays.
The fatalities occurred between December 23 and December 26, and all of them were related to car accidents. The Georgia State Patrol has reported that the accidents were caused by a variety of factors, including speeding, distracted driving, and driving under the influence.
