Alabama Republicans sound off on Colorado judges removing Trump from ballot
Alabama Republicans have voiced their opposition to the recent decision by Colorado judges to remove former President Donald Trump from the state’s primary ballot. The decision was made because Trump is ineligible to be president after his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

According to a recent poll conducted by the Alabama Republican Party, 72% of Alabama R\epublicans believe that Trump should be allowed to run for president in 2024, regardless of his involvement in the Capitol riot. The poll also found that 81% of Alabama Republicans believe that the decision by Colorado judges amounts to election interference and sets a dangerous precedent for future elections.
